Julie Harris loves teaching! Harmonia, her composition and performance studio, has made a name for itself across the state, the southeast, the U.S., and internationally as a magnet for creativity and prize-winning compositions. Harmonia is committed to building community through music, and works with performers, film makers and other composers in a world-wide network of sharing and nurturing musicians.
Specialty: composition, theory, ear training, history, orchestration, analysis, informed listening, film scoring, and piano.
Studio location: Main Street Carrboro
Teaching: All ages welcome. Composition students will be given a placement test in theory.
